Hi, I’m Christine
I’m a Swiss-born Canadian, food photographer, and recipe developer living in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. Poetic Road is where I share Swiss recipes, seasonal baking, and the food I love making for my family.
I was born in Zürich and grew up in Montréal in a Swiss-German household. Food has always been one of the ways I stay connected to that part of my life. Many of the recipes here are dishes I grew up eating; others are regional specialties I’m getting to know better myself.
A little taste of Switzerland
I love fondue and chocolate, but there’s so much more to Swiss food. There are everyday soups, crisp rösti, fruit tarts, and cookies that bring back memories with the first bite.
I share these recipes in English, with practical instructions to help you make them at home. You’ll also find Swiss-inspired dishes and seasonal recipes that leave room for me to play in the kitchen.
